Throughout the month of April, The League of Canadian Poets will be featuring several renowned poets who will present a series of readings in several cities in Canada. Moreover, the League has partnered with writers' organizations across the country to conduct a large-scale program bringing poets into the classrooms of schools across the country - thirty poets will be reading to students in six provinces.

Renowned environmentalist Tim Flannery, author of the Weathermakers, will appear together with Bridget Stutchbury author of Silence of the Songbirds
